Before we provide the instructions for activating your TASER device we will need to gather some information and perform a background check. This process includes the following steps.

  3. Provide our marketing team with some demographic information to better serve you in the future.
  4. Answer some questions to help us verify your registration data
  5. After we process this information and your background check has been approved, the activation instructions will be provided.

By entering this website and providing the requested information for the activation and background check, the user warrants and attests that he/she is the owner of the TASER device and is at least 18 years old.

TASER INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY POLICY

Protection of Information

TASER International values the trust its customers place in the company. Accordingly, TASER International adheres to the highest ethical standards in gathering, using and safeguarding customer information that is entrusted to the company. This policy covers how TASER International treats personal information that TASER International collects and receives from you for TASER device activation and processing of background checks. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that TASER International does not own or control, or to people that TASER International does not employ or manage.

Use and Collection of Customer Information

TASER International does not rent, sell or exchange information about its customers. Access to information about customers is restricted to TASER International and third parties that need access to customer information in order to provide operational or other support services to TASER International. We may disclose personally identifiable information in response to legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. Personally Identifiable Information

TASER International collects personally identifiable information (such as name, address, telephone number, birth date, and/or e-mail address) from customers only when they voluntarily provide such information to TASER International. TASER International customers who do not want their personally identifiable information collected online are asked not to submit such information to TASER International.

Children

TASER International has no intention of collecting personally identifiable information from children. To that end, we have made it our policy to not collect any individually identifiable information from users whom we know are under the age of 13 in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).
